Our VW 1600 based engine Valve Cover Gasket Set features our patent pending 22-gauge steel core that is laser cut and sandwiched between two 1.5mm cork gaskets for a leak-free fit. Total gasket thickness is 3.94mm, slightly thicker than a stock gasket with minimal cork compression for the highest sealing pressure and no need for sealer. No gaps, no leaks!
